It seems as though Sweet 16 Parties are becoming more and more popular so it was only a matter of time before City View by the James hosted its first. Talk about fabulous! From the candy bar to the cupcake tower to the uplighting and DJ, it was a night to remember for these kids.

A "Love Is In The Air" Reception

We were beyond thrilled when we found out that Love Is In The Air was going to be at City View by the James. After all, this team is known for their over the top decor and style and this wedding reception proved to be just that. Not one detail was overlooked. Love Is In The Air also decked out The Terrace for the couples ceremony. With a full moon, lighted arbor and lantern isle, the couple said their vows overlooking historic downtown Lynchburg. You can basically say that Linda and Mary turned City View by the James into something straight out of a wedding magazine. Take a look....

Patrick & Melinda: Married

Patrick and Melinda were married on The Terrace in November with the beautiful fall scenery and city scapes surrounding them. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and guests made their way up to the 20th floor for their fabulous reception at City View by the James. Here is a sneak peek into their special day.
